IMAGINE ~ A PERMACULTURE WORLD creates and fosters permaculture design and is based on the three ethics of permaculture: Care for the Earth, Care for the People and Return of the surplus back to whole. We endeavor to provide opportunities for our community to learn and embrace permaculture and its functional design as a way of life.

Our goal is to work in harmony with nature, providing clean air and water, housing and food. We also endeavor to build a world community attentive to its homeless, hungry and less fortunate. We are building a little part of heaven on earth called Imagine.

About Imagine

We are a group of like-minded volunteers serving the community by providing a food source for one and all. Our backgrounds are varied; Everyone brings something irreplaceable to this project.

We began in August of 2013 with our first project, a permaculture food forest. A food forest is a seven to nine layer edible designed forest that establishes beneficial symbiotic relationships between plants. A food forest is designed to generate energy rather than depleting the earth. This is the third food forest of its kind in the U.S.

The fun can be found along the waterfront on Bayshore Ave in Oak Harbor across from the baseball fields.

SPRING WORK HAS BEGUN: Our parties are always weather permitting.

Bring any tools, gloves and laughter you can muster up, music is on site.

We need organic-non GMO seeds, trowels and if anyone would like to donate flowers to plant we would love it!
